Register for this 10-week virtual course aimed at Respiratory Specialist Trainees sitting their Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) hosted by the RSM Respiratory Medicine Section. The course may also interest general internal medicine trainees, doctors considering a career in respiratory medicine, or specialists wanting to refresh their knowledge of the guidelines.

The course covers key topics from the JRCPTB curriculum, including lung physiology, bronchiectasis, tuberculosis, pleural diseases, lung cancer diagnosis and treatment, CT and CPET interpretation, pulmonary disease, and the surgical and interventional management of airway disease. Aims for this event include: 

  • To guide the application of relevant guidelines to clinical scenarios  
  • To increase confidence in sitting and passing the SCE exam

The cost for the 10-week course is £165 for RSM members and £220 for non-members.
