The health and wellbeing of our members and staff is our number one priority as we reopen our club, hotel and library facilities at our 1 Wimpole Street building.
While the building has been closed, we have been working hard to create a safe environment for you and your guests and you will notice some changes when you visit.
New cleaning procedures and social distancing measures have been introduced in our public areas. There will be signs to help you keep 1 metre apart and one-way systems have been introduced where possible.
There are new protective screens at our reception desks and other areas to minimise the risk of infection from Covid-19. Signs will encourage regular hand washing and there are hand sanitiser units for you to use across the building.
When you arrive your contact details and those of your guests will be taken to assist with tracking and tracing procedures if necessary.
There are new cleaning and disinfection regimes for our Domus Medica hotel accommodation, and all bedrooms will be kept vacant for 72 hours between guests.
All non-essential items have been removed from bedrooms and club rooms although these can be made available on request.
There is a more relaxed bedroom cancellation policy to allow for increased booking flexibility.

The seating in our Restaurant and Lounge Bar has been re-arranged to allow safe social distancing.
With limited capacity we strongly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. To book please call Domus Medica on 020 7290 2957.
A shortened menu will be available for table or room service. Buffet and self-service options will no longer be offered.
All our food will be served covered or pre-packaged and shared items such as salt, pepper and sugar have been removed.
Our staff will wear protective personal equipment if appropriate and we will operate a cashless system with contactless transactions or pre-payments where possible.
The Library is open with reduced hours from 9.30am-6pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.30am-5.30pm on Friday.
Study desks and PCs have been spaced to allow safe social distancing and sanitising stations and wipes are available on all floors.
The loans service is available and all loaned items returned to us are quarantined for 72 hours prior to being re-shelved.
A new Click and Collect service has been introduced which allows you to reserve and collect books, while postal loans of books to any address in the UK are free of charge for the next few months.
For full details about using the Library and loans service, read our Library Re-opening FAQs.
Our aim throughout your visit is to keep our members and staff safe, while providing our usual friendly and efficient service.
All our staff have received rigorous training for our new hygiene, safety and cleaning standards.
Please help us by following our new way of working and please do not visit if you have Covid-19 symptoms or feel unwell.
We will keep you updated about further changes and we look forward to re-opening more of our services as government guidelines allow.
If you have any concerns about your visit, please contact us.
