The Royal Society of Medicine welcomes you to our Research Afternoon on Tuesday 8 October 2024.
If you are someone with an interest in immersive technology and professional development in healthcare, join us as we reflect on the research conducted by our RSM Scholars, as part of our RSM Scholar Project. We will also be joined by Bodyswaps, who will provide a summary of their research and activity.
This event focuses on the integration of immersive technology, such as virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI), into the professional development of healthcare practitioners. Scholars involved in the project will present findings from their recent research, highlighting how these technologies can improve clinical training, decision-making, and patient care. The event will include an interactive Q&A session, offering participants the chance to engage directly with the Scholars. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to experience immersive technologies first-hand through activities.
