Speaker's biography

Ms Nora Nugent is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based at Purity Bridge in Tunbridge Wells. She is in full-time private practice with a focus on aesthetic surgery. Nora is President of the BAAPS and ESAPS and a Past President of the Plastic Surgery Section of the RSM. She is a member of the International Editorial Board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and a Section Editor of ASJ Open Forum. She chairs the ISAPS Website Committee and is part of the ISAPS Communications, Branding & Public Relations Committee.

Speaker's biography

Dr. Halle earned his MD degree from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, parallel to translational Ph.D. studies in plastic surgery. He completed his training in Plastic Surgery at Karolinska University Hospital, partly with early training in microsurgery conducted at UCLA. After completed training he became director of microsurgery at Karolinska University Hospital and later Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Halle was 2022 appointed clinical lead for The Swedish Breast Implant registry (BRIMP), which he now develops further.

 

Dr. Halle has been scientific chair for the European Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EASAPS) and president of the Swedish Society of Microsurgery. He has published widely in plastic surgery journals and books and has a current translational research focus on breast implants, capsular inflammation and fat grafting. He is a widely used international lecturer and has received several awards, among them the EURAPS best paper award on how autologous fat transfer can alter gene expression patterns. He has served as national representative for European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (EBOPRAS), where he also is an examiner for fellows of European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FEBOPRAS). He is also an active member of EURAPS, where he has been a part of the scientific committee for several years. Dr. Halle share his practice between academic and private aesthetic surgery.

Speaker's biography

Bill Townley is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in London with a special interest in rhinoplasty, deep plane facelifts and neck contouring surgery. He was an early champion of ultrasonic rhinoplasty and is co-founder of The Face Course, cadaveric dissection course for advanced facelift techniques. Bill also runs a specialist facial palsy service at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals where he was formerly Head of the Plastic Surgery department.
