About this event

  • Date and time Mon 18 Dec 2023 from 12:30pm to 4:00pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Partner Symposium

As temperatures drop across the country, the pressure on NHS frontline staff is often unrelenting. The demand for services during the winter period increases significantly, though in recent years this pressure has not been exclusive to winter but felt throughout the year. While it can seem that the NHS is in perpetual crisis, there is another story at play.

This is the story of survival, of technological transformation and of organisational innovation.

The aim of the meeting is to showcase how the NHS is adapting and evolving to meet the winter challenges for our patients. Attendees will see a suite of tech and data solutions in use and the difference high-quality data makes to decision-making, treatment and care.

By attending this meeting, you will:

  • Learn how the benefits for patients are already being realised through better use of data.

  • Have the opportunity to see how better data presents for clinicians and their teams to find new ways to deliver patient care

  • Gain insight into how one trust has improved patient flow by transforming its discharge processes and leveraging digital technology

  • Understand some of the challenges and benefits of implementing an integrated digital discharge solution
