Join this study day to deepen your understanding of adolescent medicine and the professionals involved in caring for this unique population. The programme will cover common conditions encountered by adolescent medicine specialists working across a range of adult and paediatric sub-specialties, alongside insights from members of the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) who play an integral role in adolescent healthcare. The teaching aligns with the RCPCH Progress+ core syllabus and explores the Adolescent Health Specialist Interest Module.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key medical and biopsychosocial issues affecting young people, with a strong emphasis on the importance of amplifying the adolescent voice throughout their care journey. This study day will also provide valuable insights into addressing key topics likely to arise in clinical practice, equipping you to optimise “reachable and teachable” moments that can profoundly influence young people’s future health behaviours, wellbeing, and autonomy.
