Around the World in Eighty days
The theme of the tasting is a look at the wines available to a wealthy traveller in 1872, the time when Phineas Fogg travels around the world in 80 days. What was happening in the world of wine during this time. We also look at where he might have stayed and talk about any local wines available to him and why Phineas would have stuck to the fine wines of France where possible!
Neill McKenzie, a seasoned expert with over 30 years of experience in the wine trade will guide you through an enriching wine-tasting experience, sharing captivating stories about the people and traditions behind each bottle.
This exceptional tasting will be perfectly paired with a four-course menu, thoughtfully crafted by our Executive Chef to enhance and complement the chosen wines.
