Join us for this multidisciplinary conference bringing together expert clinicians and researchers from Haematology and Nephrology to discuss and explore the connections between these two specialities. The event aims to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, provide innovative perspectives, offer practical applications, and advance understanding of the interactions between blood disorders and renal diseases.

Speaker's biography

Professor Jackson is a consultant Haematologist with a long-standing interest in multiple myeloma and has published over 250 papers in field and has led several national clinic trials in the area. He is scientific and medical advisor to Myeloma UK and is former president of the British Society for Haematology.

Speaker's biography

Dr. Candice Roufosse (MD PhD) is a Clinical Reader in Renal Pathology in the Centre for Inflammatory Diseases (CID), Dept Immunology & Inflammation, Imperial College London. She is also an Honorary Consultant in Renal and Transplant pathology at North West London Pathology, affiliated to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.   She carries out translational research in kidney and transplant kidney pathology, with a focus on the application of gene expression analysis and novel imaging technologies to improve diagnosis, including digital pathology and AI. She is a trial pathologist for clinical trials in transplantation and glomerulonephritis. Particular areas of expertise are transplant rejection and paraprotein-related renal injury.
