About this event

  • Date and time Wed 7 May 2025 from 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery

Join leading specialists at this cutting-edge event to explore the latest advancements in minimally invasive procedures, including helium plasma for submental contouring, ablative laser therapies, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) rejuvenation, and poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) for volume restoration.

Gain hands-on, practical insights into evidence-based techniques, including advanced injection techniques, laser settings and treatment-specific protocols, collagen-stimulating therapies, skin texture enhancement and fat compartment restoration to optimise patient outcomes in submental area treatments, facial skin resurfacing, vaginal rejuvenation and non-surgical skin tightening. With a primary focus on patient safety, participants will explore complication mitigation, contraindications, post-procedural care, and evidence-based outcomes.

By attending this event, you will learn about:

  • Helium plasma and RF energy for submental contouring: How plasma and RF induce tissue contraction and collagen synthesis, enhance submental contouring with liposuction, and explore biological effects on the SMAS layer and skin elasticity.
  • Ablative lasers for facial resurfacing (CO2 and Er:YAG): How fractional lasers treat acne scars, wrinkles, and photoaging, and understand laser safety, patient selection, and post-treatment care
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in aesthetic and reconstructive medicine: PRP’s role in dermal regeneration, hair stimulation, and wound healing, and its use alongside microneedling, laser therapies, and fat grafting
  • Poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) for peri-oral rejuvenation: PDLLA’s biostimulatory effects for volume restoration and skin quality, and learn precise injection techniques for optimal results
  • Thread lifting and minimally invasive vaginal rejuvenation: Master thread lifting for vaginal rejuvenation, study collagen-stimulating thread patterns, and focus on surgical safety for optimal results
  • Solar dermopenia and open pores (Kerose): The effects of sun exposure on skin ageing, and learn treatments like microneedling, topical agents, and fractional lasers.

Designed for professionals in dermatology, plastic surgery, ENT, maxillofacial surgery, general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology, endocrinology, psychiatry, and sexual health, engage in interactive discussions, present a case report or poster, and stay ahead in the evolving field of aesthetic medicine. Conclude the day with a networking drinks with colleagues.
